I’m a first generation Homeschooling mom and when i mentioned I was going to homeschool my kindergartener I received all the “side eyes”.

My Latina mom was looking at me like I was crazy, but I knew deep down that this is what’s best decision for my son. There are so many reason’s for my choice to homeschool my son but my number one reason was to protect his innocence and freedom to learn at his own pace. The way he views the world and most importantly how he views himself in the world.

Having my child in a building for 7 hours a days is not the reality I wanted for him. So here I am as a new homeschooling mom, working full time, entrepreneur and homemaker. This is my reality as a Modern Homeschooling mom and I wanted to bring you along my journey!
