My Why!

I’m a first generation Homeschooling mom and when i mentioned I was going to homeschool my kindergartener I received all the “side eyes”.

My latina mom was looking at me like I was crazy, but I knew deep down that this is what’s best for my son. There are so many reason’s for my choice to homeschool my son but my number one reason was his innocence. I wanted to protect my his innocence. The way he views the world and most importantly how he views himself in the world.

Having my child in a building for 7 hours a days is not the reality I wanted for him. So here I am as a new homeschooling mom, full time worker, entrepreneur and homemaker. This is my reality as a Modern Homeschooling mom and I wanted to bring your along my journey!
