Easter Decor Ideas; simple ways to style your table or mantle

Spring is arriving sooner than we know it and I am excited to change up my decor for this upcoming season. I created some simple design boards to help you bring different textures, colors and decor elements together when designing your space. This can be used for any large or small area and with any design style.

Easter table neutral decor

This Neutral design is clean and simple for those who love a neutral pallet. The bunny and the eggs are wood material and the cream vase has a textured feel. The bowl has curves which gives it a unique look to this simple clean design. The eucalyptus branches provide the right amount of color and texture to unify the space. The green table runner incorporates the green color from the greenery but also anchors this design.

Modern Easter Decor

The modern black and white pallet is unique and non traditional for this time of year but it's a popular design choice today. This clean and simple design offers height, texture and marble! A high end look that is beautiful and budget friendly. The marble bunny found in Marshall's is what started my vision for this look. The bunny does not have a lot of height but it holds a lot of weight, so I decided to place it on top of some beautiful books that can also be found at Marshalls. The bunny was the focal point of the design and I wanted to make sure it was not overlooked. It was purposely placed in the middle because the vase and candle sticks are both dark and tall. The vase is from Target along with the candle sticks. The candle sticks are not only modern but the round holder at the bottom provides texture and contrast. The olive branches were chosen because they were the perfect compromise of branch to leaf ratio. Bare branches are also in and could have been incorporated into this design but I didn't want the design to feel too stale since we are celebrating the upcoming Easter and Spring season.

This colorful pallet is one that is not seen as much but I still find it to be beautiful and fun. Easter has always been a time when pastel colors made an appearance and in light of this, I decided to create a mood board that reflected this. This design is not only colorful but these items can be found at any local store or dollar general being the least expensive design board. The bunny, the tray and candle were all sourced from Target. The faux Japanese blossoms, eggs and vase were sourced from amazon. In this design the eggs are the focal point and so I kept the other elements simple and clean. The tray compliments the eggs with this pastel mix of orange and pink.

In any design three elements to keep in mind are height, texture and contrast. Utilizing different heights in your design allows your eye to move around and brings attention to each decor item or furniture piece. Texture in any design provides weight and gives the design a unique feel and look. Contrast, my favorite aspect removes a monochromatic feel. The design is brought to life with contrast and a little can go a long way!

I hope this helps and I hope you come up with beautiful designs for this upcoming spring season!
